How it works- (fixed unit)
A device will be installed in a vehicle that will receive GPS signals, save the coordinates and send the information via GPRS to a central database.
Our client will receive, together with the purchase of the product, software to be installed on a computer. One will then connect to the internet daily and download all relevant data.
This function is a revolutionary new patent (patent nr. 2008/01494) which will enable one, in this ever increasing and fast lifestyle, to claim for tax purposes on a comfortable and more effective way. |
 Digeo offers the following comfortable options:
Push button-
A push button gets connected to the mechanism. As soon as the vehicle starts moving, the button will flash for 500m if the button was pushed - trip will then be registered as a business trip. After 500m default, the trip will be registered as a private trip. When data gets downloaded to the software programme via the internet, amendments can be made for example private kilometers can be changed to business kilometers and vice versa.
The Digeo Tax Logbook is accepted by SARS
 Should a client require a logbook and does not wish to interact via the computer, a yearly printout can be supplied by Digeo for an extra fee of R250.00 or all information according to their requirements can be sent to them.
Software only-
Where a client is interactive on the computer, data can be amended on a daily or a weekly basis - for instance private kilometers to business kilometers.
Cell phone and memory stick-
This technology has already been patented but it is still in a development phase.
